Comments and Replies ... and Who We Are

TANATA is devoted to discussing the paradoxes and the mysteries of life, among which is the paradox of the coexistence of good and evil. “God is love,” John tells us. Evil exists, we would suggest, not because God is detached or unconcerned, but because free will exists which is required for true, unforced love to exist. Still, it is painfully hard to reconcile this paradox. We believe that all evil one day will be judged and destroyed, until then we must pray.

DANIEL 7:13-14

13 “I was watching in the night visions, and behold, One like the Son of Man, coming with the clouds of heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him.

14 Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed.

7 Behold, He is coming with clouds, and every eye will see Him, even they who pierced Him. And all the tribes of the earth will mourn because of Him. Even so, Amen.

Are ET's Planning to Take Advantage of Jesus' Promise to Return to Earth?

Firstly, here is a link for Weirdload, a very excellent and well-written website pertaining to possible biblical references to extraterrestrials and their magnificent flying machines, with particular insight into the way the Catholic church is dealing and has dealt in the past with this controversial issue, which has become hard to ignore in light of recent official Vatican statements. But read this first, of course:

I recently read an interesting observation about alien abductions by Philip Klass: “Despite the fact that we humans are great collectors of souvenirs, not one person claiming to have been aboard a flying saucer has ever brought back so much as an extraterrestrial tool or artifact, which could, once and for all, resolve the UFO mystery.”

To which we say, Does that mean that an ET or a UFO does not exist? No, it does not mean that.

If ET’s and UFO’s truly exist, does it mean that ET’s aren’t generous or kind? A gift is the least a person ought to be given who has been subjected to abduction by our “creator gods,” right?

And, yet the Vatican’s astronomer and demonologist, with the Pope’s blessing and encouragement, say that ET’s, which they say are real, are not bad guys but good guys. Have they never read the stories of Hansel and Gretel and Little Red Riding Hood?

This observation about alleged abductees raises some more intriguing points and questions:

1) If there really are ET’s … and if they have claimed or will one day claim to be God, why do they leave abductees with no tangible proof so that everyone assumes that the abductee is crazy?

2) We cannot see God (though he has revealed himself through the written word and the word in the flesh, Jesus) … but we can see UFO’s, or some people have, and some have filmed or photographed UFO’s. If ET’s in the UFO’s are really God, individually or collectively, why have they allowed themselves to be seen without going the whole distance and just revealing who they are? Jesus did.

3) Are all UFO’s related in some way?

4) How many races or types of ET’s might there be (and are they all creepy or are some angels of light, wolves in sheep’s clothing, so to speak, as Jesus said)?

5) Are there any benevolent ET’s, and if there are … how benevolent can they be if they have not fully revealed themselves so that people will not think that people who claim to have seen an ET or a UFO or both are crazy? (This one is admittedly similar to question number one.)

6) Are there secrets and mysteries that some people know that others do not know? If so, why do people with secrets and mysteries not reveal these secrets and mysteries? Clearly, there is a negative connotation to be drawn regarding people who keep secrets and mysteries from other people.

7) What would be the purpose for people to keep secrets and mysteries from other people?

8) When someone says, “I know something you don’t know” … do you really want to know what it is?

9) When someone says, “I know something that you don’t know” is it wrong to want to punch this person in the mouth? (Jesus says yes, it is wrong, but still the urge is there.)

10) When there is a secret, exclusive club and you are not part of that secret and exclusive club, do you really want to be part of such a secretive, exclusive club?

11) What would be the purpose behind secret and exclusive clubs, other than to make people in the clubs think they were special, when they probably are not?

12) What is the benefit to having a secret or exclusive club to the person who is in charge of the secret and exclusive club, other than telling the other members of the secret and exclusive club that if they want to belong to the secret and exclusive club … they have to pay money in the form of dues?

13) If there are ET’s and UFO’s … what would be the purpose behind them not revealing themselves fully?

14) Would it be a good purpose or a bad purpose, if you had to guess?

15) If God is spirit, why would a visible ET or UFO expect anyone to believe that they were God or gods?

16) Is there evidence in the Bible that there are forms of evil which have hidden themselves from us?

17) When something hides from you … what can you draw from that? It seems to me that you can draw several conclusions from that which is visible and yet persists in hiding: a) the hidden thing wants to hurt you; b) the hidden thing wants to surprise you; c) the hidden thing is ugly ilke Quasi Moto in the Hunchback of Notre Dame or Elephant Man in The Elephant Man, and the hidden thing is embarrassed; d) the hidden thing is hiding because it knows enough about public relations and timing to know that its goals can be accomplished … if it just waits until the time is right. And time may mean nothing to ET’s which can travel at light speed squared, if ET’s exist.

18) What would be the right time for an ET or a race of ET’s to reveal themselves to earth, if their purpose was benevolent? When help would be needed, right? Really desperately needed, right? Sounds like a leveraging arrangement to me, a preliminary arrangement for a takeover.

19) If ET’s are benevolent why are they not fully revealed and present to share their benevolence? The answer would have to be … that that which is hiding is not really benevolent, but is planning to take advantage of a promise previously made by a benevolent being to return to earth and set up heaven on earth.

20) What benevolent being has left the earth and promised to return to earth and set up heaven on earth?

21) Is the promise of this benevolent being who left the earth and promised to return to earth something which a non-benevolent being might wish to take advantage of?

22) Is there then a benevolent being and a non-benevolent being planning to make appearances on earth? Jesus said yes on both counts, and don’t be deceived.

23) How will we know which is the benevolent being and which is the non-benevolent being?

24) Is there a record of a benevolent being ever saying that there would come a time when non-benevolent beings would say that they were benevolent beings when they are not? Number 22 rather answers this one. But the answer to that question … is yes. And that answer speaks volumes, it speaks to all of these other questions. Do not be deceived would seem to be the best thing we can be telling ourselves in these times.

25) What’s the worst thing that can happen if something hidden is non-benevolent but wishes for us to think that it is benevolent? a) Enslavement as in ancient Sumeria and Babylonia? b) killing off a large part of the world’s population to resolve the problem of over-population? c) eating people and using their bodies for spare parts? d) all of the above?

26) Do you know the story of Hansel and Gretel or the Big Bad Wolf and Red Riding Hood?

27) Would a loving God allow such a circumstance to occur? He would if he withdrew from the earth and took what belonged to him with him.
